How to Submit a MyDec: Signing Up and Completing the IL-PTAX 

In May 2014, the State of Illinois began transitioning to an online PTAX filing form called MyDec. The changeover began in Cook County with the goal of incorporating all Illinois counties by the end of 2015.

In this program, our speaker offers step-by-step instructions on how to use MyDec:

  • Sign up as a new MyDec Account Administrator;
  • Add your own closer (if necessary); and
  • Fill out and submit a MyDec for your transaction.
