Susan Haugh has worked in the legal field for over three decades and continues to have a varied yet successful career as a Senior Paralegal. Please join us as we speak with Susan about her diverse professional experiences and career path. Susan Haugh is a Chicago native from the Southwest side of the city. Her career began with her employment at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Chicago, where she worked for twenty-one years. Upon her departure from the Court in 2006, Susan began working as a Paralegal. She has been an essential team member on cases involving significant legal matters in Cook County and on matters pending in Federal Courts throughout the United States. Susan has experience in many practice areas, including bankruptcy, litigation, probate, real estate, corporate, and other civil litigation matters. She utilizes her experiences for volunteering, too, over the years working with Administer Justice (a Pro Bono/Low-cost Legal Clinic) and with the Domestic Violence Clinic in Chicago. Susan graduated with an Associate of Liberal Arts from Richard J. Daley College, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from DePaul University. She earned a Paralegal Certificate from the College of DuPage. Currently, Susan is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Forensic Social Work from Aurora University.
